Franc Gallery is pleased to present a solo exhibition by Hank Bull, in which various elements including a shadow installation, paintings, photographs and an illustrated artist’s talk, combined to address the complex relationship between painting and performance. A multi-disciplinary artist whose diverse output includes video, shadow theatre, cabaret performance, sound, writing and radio art, Hank Bull considers the place of painting, sculpture and photography within the expanded field of contemporary visual arts practice. His artist’s talk examined “The Question of Form,” from the double perspective of art history and his own recent production.
